The ames room
The Ames room is a room that has an optical illusion that makes it look like the room is tilting. The room was created by Jesse Ames in the early 1900s. The room is a square room with a sloping floor. The floor of the room is tilted at an angle of about 11 degrees. The walls of the room are also tilted. The room tricks the eyes into thinking that the room is tilted. The Ames room was originally created as an amusement park ride. The room was later used as a training tool for pilots during World War II. The room is now used as a exhibit in museums.
